The Legend is back once again at Moonlight Theatre for his Christmas extravaganza!! Performing an array of Christmas and Holiday classics. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season!!
Rick Saucedo began his professional career in1972 at the age of 17. In 1978, Rick starred in THE LEGEND LIVES ON, the Broadway play, performing six nights a week for five months, accompanied by The Jordinaires and D.J. Fontana. A year later, the Legend show went to the Stardust in Las Vegas. By the 1980’s, Rick put together his rock band that exposed his musical talents. The band performed classic hits as well as many of Rick’s original songs. He continued performing his Elvis tribute in local clubs as well as touring the United States and Canada. In 1989, Rick teamed up with John Cusack and Mike Myers for ELVIS STORIES, a film directed by Ben Stiller. 1998 brought Rick as a solo artist to the Alahambra Theatre in Aruba. He played nightly to a full audience for an entire month. On his return, Rick began performing with background tracks. Rick has written over 100 songs and produced dozens of CD’s including his original, Memphis, I’m Coming Home, which merged the style of Elvis with his original songs. Rick was accompanied by the Jordanaires, Elvis’s original background singers.in 2002, Rick sang the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox on Elvis night. The years following brough him several Best Solo Performer Awards by Suburban Life Magazine. Rick broke the attendance record at two venues in Umea and Lulea, Sweden in 2009, performing with Sweden’s foremost Rockabilly Band, The Sun Cats. Rick was again recognized in 2011 receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award in Las Vegas and Memphis, TN and again in 2014 at the 33rd Annual Chicago Music Awards. Today, Rick continues to write music and perform his Elvis Tribute Shows every week.
