Unrehearsed Shakespeare Festival

Moonlight Theatre is proud to present the 1st annual Unrehearsed Shakespeare Festival.  Featuring the farcical “Comedy Of Errors” on July 26th at 8pm, The problematic “Merchant Of Venice” on July 27th at 8pm and the battles of the sexes that is “The Taming Of The Shrew” on July 28th at 6pm. These plays are uniquely presented bringing the audience and the performers together in the way Shakespeare’s company originally intended, using unrehearsed cue script techniques. This isn’t the Shakespeare you remembered in school, these plays will keep you awake, and leave you wanting more!!

Presented by The Elgin Shakespeare Project, Janus Theatre Company and Moonlight Repertory, this is a chance to see how lively, fun and exciting Shakespeare’s plays can be up close!!

Food and drinks will be served an hour before, throughout the shows via table service, and after each performance.

Full bar is available.
